Description
As a Software Engineer you will design and develop core infrastructure for a variety of Apple devices. You will:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficient in one or more object oriented language (Swift, Objective-C, C++).
  • Experience shipping high quality software.
  • Experience crafting powerful and concise APIs and broad knowledge of layered software architecture.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design with keen eye to best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience with performance – profiling, identifying, and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Good understanding of memory management, multi-threaded programming, and synchronization.
  • Effective communicator, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with all levels of engineers and people in other fields.
  • Motivated self-starter and phenomenal teammate who thrives working in a dynamic environment and learning new technologies.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking, with strong collaboration skills to partner with multi-functional groups across the company.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ROS
  • Experience integrating ML features
  • Experience developing software for Apple devices
  • Experience with home automation and home automation standards
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, related fields, or relevant professional experience.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
