What you'll do:

We are looking for candidates who are:

• Troubleshooting problems as they come up spanning network, systems and code
• Deploying code across multiple environments and infrastructures through automation
• Monitoring alerts for any issues and using your troubleshooting skills to resolve them
• Building tools to reduce hands-on and recurring work while supporting existing tools
• Always looking for ways to improve and optimize current processes and tools
• Documenting new processes and tools and maintain existing documentation
• Collaborating with development teams and other internal teams

What you bring:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Student in computer science or engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Solid knowledge of Virtualization and Containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with at least one of the following hyperscallers: Alicloud, GCP, Azure, AWS
• Experience working with common CI/CD tools (Github, Jenkins, Vault, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drill down to the code level
• Strong interests in DevOps / SRE practices and cloud technologies
• Fluency in English - verbal and written
• Bonus point - Experience with Cloud Foundry, Dockers/containers and Kubernetes
• Bonus point - Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols along the way.
• Bonus point - Networking: knowledge and understanding of network theory, such as different protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, etc.), MAC addresses, IP packets, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing).
• Bonus point - Experience with VMware technologies (vRA, NSX) and/or public cloud services (Alicloud, Azure, AWS, GCP)
• 3 daysper week for at least6 months
