Senior Mobile Engineer

Analyzes and gathers requirements, then plan and develops features in the Walmart Mobile application on the iOS platform. Participates in medium to large scale projects by reviewing project requirements, translates requirements into technical solutions, gathers requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames), writes and develops code, conducts unit testing, communicates status and issues to team members and stakeholders, collaborates with project team and cross functional teams, troubleshoots open issues and bug-fixes, ensures on-time delivery, interacts with project manager to provide input on project plan, and provides leadership to the project team. Troubleshoots business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause), engages support teams to assist in the resolution of issues, formulates an action plan, performs actions as designated in the plan, interprets the results to determine further action, performs root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues, and completes online documentation. Provides support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies), short- and long-term solution, resolutions, and leads cross-functional partnership.

Minimum education and experience Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in software engineering or related field.

Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language using Swift, C#, C++, Java, and Framework. Experience using version control systems including Git and SVN. Experience using Unified Modeling Language for analysis and design of new and existing features using Class diagrams, sequence diagrams, and flow charts. Experience implementing REST APIs. Experience using command line in Unix based systems. Experience with Mobile systems architecture. Experience using Test-Driven Development. Experience using different design including MVC, MVVM, Delegate, Singleton, and Coordinator. Experience using Agile Development Methodologies.
