Key job responsibilities
As a SDE on the Prime Video Persona team, you will work on machine learning and big-data challenges as well as core software engineering issues such as delivering reliable low-latency services, building a global solution and scaling to millions of Prime Video customers worldwide. We require thinking big architecturally and product-wise to help drive innovation in our space, while also being able to act quickly to prove out ideas via proof of concepts and learning experiments. We require a high operational bar and we we never compromise efforts on OE. Experience with ML development of some kind is a prereq for this role.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
