Role of a Systems Engineer:
- Product subsystems include light optics, electron optics, imaging, detectors, HV electronics, vacuum systems, wafer transfer systems, detection and classification algorithms, machine control and UI software.
- Working with teams from optics, mechanical, DL algorithms, electrical and robotics for development of new designs.
- Analyzing and defining the requirement, breaking down to subsystem requirements, engaging with multi-disciplinary teams in the development cycle and then integration into the system. by characterization, product integration and maintenance.
- Gain a detailed functional understanding of the entire product, act independently, devise and drive innovative analyses.
- Travel up to 25% to support integration
General Requirements
- Experience with Vacuum Systems, Electron Optics, and High Voltage for scanning electron microscopes. Hands on assembly and testing using error budget qualification is required.
- Setting-up experiments, modeling, and data analysis.
- Advanced degree in either of Physics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Materials Science
- Knowledge in instrumentation, signal/image processing andoptical/electro-opticalsystems such as electron microscopes.
- Proficiency in scripting language (MATLAB, Python, others) for scientific data collection & analysis.
- Interpersonal and technical presentation skills for design decisions and data review.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
