Job Description

Guides the CDx Lead in aligning the diagnostics strategy and implementation of companion diagnostics (CDx) in line with portfolio and priorities.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Coordination and management of the marketing department in order to fulfill the objectives set at company level, including regarding the promotion of products to health professionals qualified to prescribe or distribute medicines;
  • Preparation of action plans for the teams of medical representatives regarding the promotion of the company's products;
  • Taking responsibility for the fulfillment of promotion objectives from a qualitative and quantitative point of view, as well as objectives that are not strictly related to promotion, regarding Analysis and monitoring of the business environment and competitors; Supervising the participation in congresses, symposiums and other promotional and/or educational events;
  • Establishing and maintaining an excellent relationship with opinion leaders; Training, coordination and supervision of BCM’s and CDx who report directly to them;
  • Carry out the recruitment process for the functions that report directly to him (interviews, hiring) and ensure the efficient integration of the new employee through onboarding;
  • Evaluates the performance of team members and applies performance improvement measures when necessary after alignment with BUD and HR
  • Provides permanent coaching and feedback and identifies development opportunities for team members as well as personal ones;
  • Coordinates the performance management process for the team and proposes evaluation ratings for BUD approval
  • Develops in collaboration with the cross functional and regional teams the Brand Plan for Romania and follows up execution, based on specific KPIs
  • Tracks sales and promo expenses forecasting and follows up implementation of approved action plan.
  • Provides support for BUD in preparing the NovFC and MayFC
  • Develops relevant promotional and non-promotional material and programs, customizes global and regional materials to be appropriate to local market and supervises that all promo materials developed by the BCM’s are aligned with the overall Oncology marketing strategy
  • Integrates MCM activities, customer solutions projects, communication plans and other customer related activities and ensures accomplishment of strategic objectives
  • Collaborates with support functions to conduct market research/analysis.
  • Conducts frequent field visits to liaise with Scientific Leads and other physicians, gaining deeper market understanding and customer insights.
  • Close liaison with the oncology medical representatives to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and programs to ensure that promotional material is being used optimally
  • Oversees the CDx responsibilities as performed in due time and in line with SOP’s and regulations in place.
  • Ensures all CDx programs are in full alignment with Global CDx and Legal provisions, covering all areas from CDx programs development through approval and launch
  • Respects the Internal Book of regulation, the applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs), the ARPIM code and all the applicable Romanian laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor or University degree from accredited university, preferably Healthcare education (medical or pharmaceutical)
  • 5 years’ experience within Pharma, preferable experience in Oncology and launching new products
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Ability to manage key external stakeholders, to influence without authority, and to create and carry out action plans in matrix cross-functional team structures
  • Exhibit strong leadership, problem solving, project planning, teamwork, analytical
  • Very good written/verbal communication skills in Romanian and English Languages
  • Ability to integrate diverse perspectives from across the work group;
  • Knowledge of Financial management (e.g., promo budget, sales forecasts, etc.) to be able to support the BUD
  • Business acumen (e.g., knowledgeable in policies, practices, trends, technology, and information influencing company’s business)
  • Ability to prioritize objectives and make difficult resource allocation decisions
  • Digitally literate- quick to understand, has the practical experience
