Key Responsibilities
Accountable for the performance and results of cross functional groups within a major region or business units to integrate products into a coherent portfolio of products focused on the market. Manages portfolio like a “product” (business plan, positioning, buying process, market requirements, and marketing plan)
Has "guru" understanding to analyze market data and identifytrends/opportunities,develop strategic direction from market information, and create compelling market analysis presentations and recommendations
Directs and controls the activities of more than one functional area and selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Maps the needs within one or more broad functional markets and analyzes abstract market segmentations. Determines which segments to actively pursue
