Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving Goods / Truck loading: Accurately receive and inspect goods and shipping documents correctly, considering the quantity and quality of the shipment that matches the packing list, including the ability to use a forklift or pallet truck to transport goods from the truck. Must have a driver's license and use the correct type of vehicle to transport goods from the truck, such as a forklift, hand lift, X-lift, Stacker, etc.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and review inventory regularly. Basic skills in Microsoft Excel are required to update inventory spreadsheets, manage counts, and generate reports. Experience in SAP will specially consider.
• Request Fulfillment: Efficiently select and manage shipments as requested and as required, including preparing products for shipment and ensuring safe and compliant packaging, with attention to detail to minimize errors.
• Shipping and Documentation: Prepare necessary shipping documents, labels, and communicate with shipping carriers to coordinate timely pickups. Familiarity with shipping software and basic Excel for tracking shipments and updating logs is beneficial.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and safe. Adhere to safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
• Use of Equipment: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, which require a certified truck loading license. Following safety procedures is paramount in this role.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively within a team to achieve daily operational goals and communicate pertinent information regarding inventory levels and request statuses.

MUST HAVE:

• Must have a driver's license of truck loading, such as a forklift, hand lift, X-lift, Stacker, etc.
• Skill of basic Word and Excel for tracking shipments and updating logs is beneficial.
• Be meticulous and precise in controlling and managing stock in the warehouse.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads consistently and engage in physical labour.
