JOB DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify Building Automation System (BAS) functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements including: testing, calibrating system and peripheral device operations as per preventative maintenance schedule
• Complete documentation of all work done, including all readings, offsets, overrides, etc.
• Monitor alarms in the Building Automation System, initiate work orders, and order materials to make repairs
• Maintain customer system documentation with any configuration or model changes
• Respond to emergency service calls as required
• Design and develop electrical systems and components for building automation solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, practices, and standards
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
•5+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems, HVAC, or instrumentation
•Experience with the following Building Automation Systems: Siemens, Johnson Controls, Automated Logic, Niagara, or Distech
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
