-Remote Controller firmwareAs a Software Development Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design, and bring to market innovative developer tools. You will work closely with an internal interdisciplinary team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and test. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.The ideal candidate has current and extensive experience developing and building embedded device firmware and BT/WiFi connectivity. The candidate understands what the limitations of the platform are and can design and implement additional services or help optimize existing ones to meet the product requirements. The ideal candidate:- Has in-depth expertise working with Embedded system
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Bluetooth Technology- Knows what is important when releasing software to developers and has been through the process from start to finish
- Is comfortable with proactive outward communication and technical leadership and never shies away from a challengeA day in the life
In a typical day, you will work closely with Remote Controller and FireTV, SoC vendors, ODMs, Hardware team, and technical program managers to create new platform features, customize Remote controller firmware based on hardware designs, address issues in firmware areas like Bluetooth, SDK, drivers, bootloader etc., improve system performance and stability, and deliver customer loving high quality smart TV products on time.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in embedded development in C/C++, or experience in embedded wireless systems
- Experience developing system test automation infrastructure

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
