FCC Functional Consultant – Senior
As part of Risk Consulting, you will be part of the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Team and will be deployed involved in client engagements related to development of FCC policies and procedures, performing FCRA (Financial Crime Risk Assessments), developing FCC Governance framework various clients in FS sector in MENA region.
You will work within different sized, multi-disciplinary teams and play a key role in ensuring high quality outputs and service to our clients. The role involves developing knowledge and implementing new solutions in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.
Your key responsibilities
- Design and implement policies and procedures related to Financial Crime compliance
- Develop Governance Framework for Financial Crime compliance
- Conduct thorough Financial Crime Risk Assessments (FCRA) to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders regarding FCC policies and best practices.
- Develop and deliver training programs on Financial Crime risk management and compliance to enhance organizational awareness.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and emerging trends in Financial Crime.
- Participate and support business development initiatives.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers.
- Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development.
- The job would require travel (Over 50%) to client locations in Middle East and North Africa such as Dubai, Kuwait, Riyadh, Doha etc.

- Experience in KYC, sanctions, AML, FCRA policy, procedure, KRI/KPI and methodologies development
- Experience in training modules development
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations at a short notice.
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadline.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong academic history (with work experience in FCC/AML, Big 4 preferred).
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience working with business consulting firms.
- A valid passport for travel.
Preferably, you may also have
- Experience / certifications in Financial Crimes Compliance like CAMS or CFE.
