As an Executive Protection Specialist within PNC Security organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Job Description
  • Assess and react, based upon potential impacts of presented risks/threats, in protection of at-risk PNC employees, who may include: CEO, Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and others as identified.
  • Perform executive protection and logistic support, as needed, when clients travel both domestically and abroad. Manage the security operations from a dispatch "mobile" command center to create a localized point for analyzing security challenges and disseminating information. Basic knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Perform site survey, both domestically and abroad, advise on site requirements, implementing security and access controls to ensure safety. Maintains a thorough knowledge of all security orders, written and oral, pertaining to assigned duties as well as working knowledge of applicable federal/state laws.
  • Works with all stakeholders to create comprehensive security plans, for all trips, events and off-site meetings. Coordinate contingency plans and emergency medical response for security incidents while protecting PNC employees. May partner with law enforcement on an as needed basis.
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy.
  • Assist and may facilitate physical security training. Takes an active role in media and speaking engagements as needed. Maintains the highest level of professional and confidentially.

Effective Communications, Employee Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Group Facilitation, Managing Multiple Priorities, Personnel Security, Premises Security, Security ManagementRoles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.No Required Certification(s)Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as established by PNC Policies.
