Your key responsibilities
As one of our
Program Manager, Senior Managersyou’ll work with government clients to support and improve a broad range of Program Management (PM) operations, including integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, procurement and stakeholder management. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge on meaningful and complex projects, while working with multidisciplinary teams and industry leaders. Key responsibilities of the position include:
- Works in collaborative environment with various project teams to support the mission of and it’s components
- Acts as a trusted client advisor, responsible for project delivery
- Lead multiple operational projects and teams in a collaborative team environment
- Responsible for program and project scoping, planning and tracking, on-time delivery, and high quality deliverables and services
- Develops program implementation plans and establishes mechanisms for incorporating lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Responsible for managing the delivery of services in compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Meets financial objectives for the contact and task order(s)
- Prepares and participates in client presentations
- Provides strategic initiatives, produces status reports for the client, leads monthly COR reviews, and ensures acceptable performance and contract compliance
- Assist in identifying key capability gaps and assist in developing recommendations to address these gaps
- Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Participates in development of proposals in support of new business development
- Oversee a delivery team and be main point of contact for clients for assigned projects
- Supports hiring/recruiting as needed to support various business initiatives
- Supports business development and sales opportunities including but not limited to identifying growth opportunities and supporting and preparing RFI/RFP/RFQ solicitation responses (written and oral)
- Building, managing and motivating high-performing teams, including supporting people-related initiatives (e.g., recruitment, retention, training, competency development)
- Developing people through effective leadership, coaching, mentoring and performance assessment of all levels of staff
- Communicating workplace policies, procedures and practices to all levels of staff
Skills and attributes for success
- Understand clients’ cultures and operations to influence important decisions
- Leverage industry leading practices and trends to provide valuable insights to clients
- Assist with cultivating and managing business development opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor's degree
- 15 years of experience leading teams on engagements required
- Subject matter expertise, demonstrating significant breadth and depth in multiple domains of work including business transformation, performance management, emerging technologies, innovation, travel, trade, biometrics, information systems, and technology platforms
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
Ideally you'll also have
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $148,900 to $340,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $178,700 to $386,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
