Job responsibilities

  • Guide and support your teams in adopting and implementing agile methodologies to achieve operational goals
  • Foster engagement and teamwork, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
  • Utilize analytical skills to review data and make inferences
  • Manage your team’s delivery backlog and prioritize work effectively to meet business teams as well as assist your team in efficiently prioritizing their own backlogs
  • Utilize your communication and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders
  • Encourage and develop your team’s skills to ensure continuous improvement
  • Use advanced communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to manage and influence stakeholders while communicating organizational impediments to leadership

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, with a focus on coaching teams and individuals on agile methodologies and project management
  • Experience managing and developing individual contributors
  • Possess advanced knowledge of multiple product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices, enabling effective guidance and support
  • Display advanced knowledge of agile delivery and multiple agile approaches, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), and scaling frameworks, monitoring agility metrics; with the ability to guide teams through complex projects, emphasizing iterative progress and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration
  • Ability to develop and implement product strategies aligned with business goals
  • Must be able to collaborate and work effectively with heads of product / product owners
  • Must be able to maintain regular communication within product space, be transparent about goals, challenges, and progress
  • Excellent skills in collaborative planning – involving other product owners and coordinating efforts
  • Be able to share insight and data to inform decision-making.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training on Agile coaching, such as recognized coaching certifications
  • Previous experience managing individual contributors
  • Recommended skills include but are not limited to: agile delivery, business acumen, change management, continuous improvement, coaching, internal stakeholder management, strategic thinking, self-study, verbal communication, adaptability, and decision making, product leadership
