Responsible for managing the entire end-to-end vendor management lifecycle.
Support Stakeholders and Vendors to coordinate and facilitate Third Party Risk Management activities.
Ensure vendor’s compliance to required policies and regulations (e.g., Third Party Management Policy, Information Security, Continuity of business)
Maintain supplier systems of record, automating and optimizing vendor data sources to be self-service and provide insight for senior management.
Establish new relationships between Citi and its vendors, creating and managing Initial Risk Questionnaires (IRQ) and Third-Party Management Systems (CASP, P2P,GEP)
Review, assess, and act on results of Third-Party Risk Management activities assessments/controls, facilitating and executing planning and pre-contract due diligence activities, contract, ongoing monitoring, and termination.
Provide expert guidance and support on the development of Third-Party Management key controls, standard processes, operating procedures, and promulgation of best practices.
Perform reviews of Vendor Lifecycle (Pre-Contract due diligence, post-contract ongoing monitoring) and provide credible challenges to accountable / responsible parties.
Assist with/review results of additional vendor monitoring activities (Adverse results)
Manage Third Party contracts (e.g. Statements of Work) ensure contracts are properly executed and uploaded in the Vendor Contract Management System (GEP) working with Business if re-negotiations are required..
Support Third-Party Risk Management reporting activities as required and participate in continuous improvement activities.
Interface with all third-party stakeholders Third Party Officers (TPOs), Business Activity Owners (BAOs), TP-RAP Support, Supplier Oversight, Third Party Management Team (TPM) and Sector and Regional Third-Party Risk teams and other Citi business stakeholders on a regular basis
Build relationships with vendor contacts that cross regions, sectors, and functions to ultimately ensure third party compliance to Citi policies, contractual obligations, and SLAs.
Review results of third-party risk monitoring activities providing credible challenges to, and quality checks of, such results
Monitor the Key Indicators for the business, including vendor’s performance.
Identify any significant changes for the vendor relationships and trigger the update of Third-Party Risk Assessments
Partner with Vendor Contract Management Team to strategically manage a large portfolio of contracts, facilitating on time renewals, defining strategies, and identifying opportunities to optimize and consolidate services.
Coordinating the search, interview scheduling and execution, selection, recruitment, and on-boarding of external project resources
Effectively communicating with key stakeholders both internal and external
Provide thought leadership to drive supplier optimization and efficiencies based on Vendor risk profiles, performance, and market trends.
Serve as point of contact with vendors and hiring managers.
Complete and update Third Party Risk Management procedures and documentation.
Assist the project manager to procure services from the third parties in compliance with relevant Third-Party Risk Management policies.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in financial services
Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts.
Experience in Third Party Management and resource management. Experience with resource recruitment processes / project staffing / vendor liaison / third party onboarding and management within a project / consulting environment.
Experience with entitlement review processes and execution, systems oversight, documentation management and reporting, ensuring compliance with policies.
Working knowledge of eProcurement and TPM tools (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Risk Assessment, TPU Tools).
Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures.
Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
