Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical input to the General Imaging Ultrasound and Primary Care product management, clinical leaders, and engineering teams for product development.
  • Provide expertise for clinical marketing and value proposition creation enabling evidence generation and go-to-market programs.
  • Support or organize internal scanning during product development and assist with verification and validation activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining regular contact with project team members to ensure project deliverables and desired outcomes are progressing as planned and that expectations are well-defined.
  • Support external evaluations for new product development, assisting in the feedback processes, tracking methods and collect anonymized image data for engineering investigations of performance.
  • Support region teams to develop global clinical and education training, collect anonymized image data for demonstration of product features.
  • Establish and maintain close contacts (formal and informal advisory panels) in the clinical community
  • Keep informed on industry trends and competitive offerings.

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
  • Provide clinical input as part of the product extended core team. Add clinical input during Defect management and risk mitigation.
  • Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Sonography Certification or equivalent
  • 5 plus years of experience in a patient care setting
  • Highly qualified in clinical applications in the General Imaging Ultrasound environment
  • Extensive experience in medical industry
  • Experience in industry of medical device development and processes
  • Experience in communicating scientific data (talks, posters, papers)
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer sites, development centers, including international travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good communication and presentation skills: present complex material/ techniques in comprehensible terms to wide set of audience from Key opinion leaders to new sales representatives
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Customer contact experience
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Creative, flexible, adapts to changes easily and well-organized
  • Basic knowledge of Project management
