Your main focus will be on developing predictive and optimization models to guide operations planning decisions for the rapidly evolving and complex inbound network for Amazon. You'll analyze large amount of data to identify and evaluate opportunities to improve customer experience, network speed, cost and efficiency; and presenting the results to non-technical audience with the aid of visualization tools. You'll work with transportation, efficiency and packaging data-flow through real-time systems, and use it to power machine learning algorithms. You will leverage optimization approaches to evaluate trade-offs between potentially competing business objectives and improve decision-making. You will identify effective metrics to quantify the improvements resulting from the application of your developed tools and solutions.Bellevue, WA, USA

- 3+ years of data scientist experience
- 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience
- 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance experience
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
