Your key responsibilities

  • Lead and design workshops in the manufacturing space and help gather requirements and propose S/4 HANA best practices for our clients and take the designed solution live within their SAP environments.
  • Oversee a mix of offshore and onshore team members, ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes and adherence to implementation timelines.
  • Demonstrate in-depth functional capabilities in the SAP Manufacturing area and possess strong business acumen.
  • Lead and deliver quality SAP projects or workstreams.
  • Ensure high-quality client service, track project milestones, manage risks, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key client personnel at relevant levels.

Skills and attributes for success

On your typical engagement, you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities in the manufacturing and quality management space. You will initiate the requirement gathering, design solutions, blueprinting, testing, complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution. Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations, customizations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of related work experience within the manufacturing business area.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or SAP S/4 HANA, particularly in the Production Planning (PP) module.
  • A proven track record of leading teams to delivery project deliverable within critical deadlines.
  • Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members in the manufacturing space.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
  • Insight into best practices, benchmarking, peer company environments, and previous advisory roles pertinent to industry-specific production, quality management, and technology functions.
  • A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Prior consulting experience with a focus on leading project teams.
  • SAP Certifications in SAP Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related production execution modules.
  • Experience with SAP Quality Management (QM), Environment Health & Safety (EHS), Intercompany, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) or Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) Live.
  • Experience with at least three full cycle implementations of SAP PP and/or QM in S/4 HANA
  • Experience with new manufacturing offerings in SAP S/4 HANA, such as Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) and/or Product Engineering and Operations (PEO).

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $137,700 to $252,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $165,200 to $286,800. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
