  • Perform part survival analysis (Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and/or similar methods), apply survival regression models to predict future survivability
  • Analyze demand characteristics across the fleet that behave differently as to be partitioned in analysis (ex. different customers, products, contractual entitlements=, etc)
  • Review findings with the part planner / engineering to raise awareness about our products as well as validate assumptions prior to building forecast models
  • Build demand forecasts for critical parts by applying the aforementioned analysis to available forecasting tools
  • Assist in the development and refinement of forecasting tools in order to best leverage the insights uncovered through demand analysis
  • Help build a scalable approach to sample demands to be used in Monte Carlo simulations (designed to evaluate the logistics spend and customer experience based on our supply chain network design and plan investment)
