Technical lead of complex Medical System & Device Development
Understanding the range of user, product, business, and marketing requirements and converting them to practical system level requirements.
Definition, writing, and management of Design Inputs and flow down.
Partition large systems into subsystems, modules, and components, each clearly defined and straightforward to implement.
Definition, planning, and leading system design and integration using a cross-disciplinary team of engineers.
Drive validation and verification activities for the overall product, including system level testing.
Overall professional responsibility for product performance and quality, working side-by-side with the project manager.
Provide technical assistance for sales and marketing activities.
Lead problem solving and escalations from customers and within the organization.
Root cause analysis of in-service problems (including operational/safety hazards, parts obsolescence, reliability degradation, field issues, compliance issues, and regulatory changes), development of required design changes (ECOs) to resolve those issues.
Work with the Regulatory team to provide and maintain the regulatory design inputs and systems compliance.
Receive field and production feedback and drive ongoing product improvements, identify performance and capability enhancement opportunities.
Work with program managers to create and manage project schedules.
Required Qualifications:
BSc in Engineering- System/Electrical/Electro-optical/Mechanical/Bio-medical/Computer- mandatory. MSc- advantage.
At least 6 years of experience in development of multi-disciplinary products, including HW, Mechanics, Software, and Physics.
At least 3 years of experience in system engineering.
Interpersonal skills and excellent teamwork - the ability to meet technical as well as human challenges
Experience resolving complex system issues and being “hands-on” when needed.
Fluent in Hebrew and English
Good documentation skills
Experience in EMC and Safety certifications - advantage.
Experience in Imaging / Electro-Optical systems - advantage.
