Engineering Technician - Analog Power Products - 1st/Day Shift (Phoenix, Arizona)

- Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment
- Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, logic systems, and packaging.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
- Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
- Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
- Maintain and manage and engineering lab and equipment
- Perform Altium PCB layout as needed
- Perform PCB soldering and assembly as needed
- Organize and manage calibration of engineering lab equipment as needed
Minimum requirements:
One of the following:
- Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma/Certificate in an approved field of study and 5+ years of Technician level experience in a non-Semiconductor environment, OR
- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ Years of Technician level experience in a Semiconductor environment, OR
- High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of Military experience in an approved Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
- Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills
