Senior Appian Consultant – Conversational AI Developer:

The Opportunity:
We help clients with process automation across enterprise functions and business units leveraging tools and platforms suitable for client requirements and needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, development and testing of conversational AI solutions, including virtual chatbots, to meet the specific needs of clients in the financial services sector.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
- Design conversational flows, intents, and dialogues that provide intuitive and efficient customer interactions.
- Configure or develop Appian in a client business environment, understanding use and purpose.
- Write, test, and maintain robust NodeJS, Natural Language Processing, Python code for chatbot applications.
- Implement NLP and machine learning techniques to enhance chatbot understanding and performance.
- Knowledge of using Kore.ai, Microsoft chatbot platforms, and Copilot Studio.
- Integrate chatbots with existing banking systems and APIs to provide a cohesive user experience .
- Conduct thorough market and technology research to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in conversational AI and virtual chatbot technologies.
- Prepare and deliver thought leadership, compelling presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the value and capabilities of our conversational AI solutions for their business growth.
- Co-ordinate with global teams to support with client delivery.
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Overall, 2-7 years of experience with minimum 2 years of experience in conversational solutions development.
- Demonstrated expertise with Kore.ai and Microsoft chatbot platforms, including Copilot Studio.
- Proficient in Python programming and knowledgeable in GenAI code.
- Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and RESTful API integration.
- Experience with deploying chatbots to production and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and Azure AI Services is highly desirable.
- Kore.ai Developer Certification or Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $85,600 to $141,300. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $102,700 to $160,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
