You will make an impact with the following duties:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for low voltage power distribution equipment, aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and support to achieve team and individual goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of power distribution, circuit protection, and energy monitoring to drive product innovation and ensure technical excellence.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • Product Development: Lead cross-functional teams in the development of new products and enhancements to existing products. Ensure products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product performance.
  • Financial Management: Oversee product line financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Ensure products meet financial targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with key customers and industry stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure products meet market needs. Address customer issues and implement solutions to improve product satisfaction.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management or Business Marketing
  • 10+ years of experience in professional work environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
    • Product management, marketing, sales, logistics or R&D experience preferably with electrical or electromechanical products.
    • Proven experience successfully leading and motivating teams.
    • Proven experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) or general project management of hardware and (preferably) software products
    • Strong technical aptitude - ability to interpret, author and edit technical product specifications and other documents.
    • Excellent communication skills - verbal / non-verbal and technical / non-technical.
    • Strong data analysis, problem solving, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to multitask and manage diverse product management staff and activities per a schedule.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (~20%.)
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Data Center Focus: Lead product initiatives specifically tailored to data center configurations and architecture, addressing the unique needs and challenges of this sector.
  • Financial Acumen and Business Decision Making: Demonstrated understanding of financial reporting and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Agile and Data Analytics Proficiency: Experience with Agile methodologies (Jira, etc.) and strong data wrangling and analytics skills (Knime, Tableau).
  • Leadership and Project Management Skills: Experience managing technical or marketing teams, and advanced knowledge of PLM or PMP certification.
  • Supply Chain and International Operations Experience: Familiarity with international logistics, sales and operations planning, 3rd party manufacturing, brand label management, or procurement.

  • The pay range for this position is $120,540 - $206,640 plus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
