Your key responsibilities
- Join the fast-growing Asia Pacific Customer Tax Operations and Reporting Services practice to deliver complex AEOI engagements. As part of the team, you will work closely with team members across the Asia Pacific region while you are also required to interact with teams in other parts of the world, e.g. the US.
- Take part in various types of AEOI engagements which include advisory, compliance, reporting and transformation projects for financial institution clients from all sectors.
- Use the latest EY technologies in the engagement delivery.
- Partner with Tax Technology & Transformation to deliver innovative EY solutions which gives the unique value proposition.
- Assist clients in handling enquiries or inspections from tax authorities and other controversy matters.
- Assist in pursuits and the preparation of proposals.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor or advanced degree in Accounting, Law, Finance or Economics, Business, IT or other relevant disciplines.
- Excellent command in both written & spoken English. High proficiency in Chinese and/or other language is preferable.
- Energetic, hardworking, strong analytical, business savvy.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Strong presentation, organization and management skills.
- Good at Microsoft Office. Appreciation of visualization / data analytics tools would be welcomed.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience dealing with clients within the financial services sector is strongly preferred
- Experience dealing with information exchange matters (FATCA, CRS) or information reporting and withholding matters is a plus but not a must
- Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated and driven team player
