Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, or Rust
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant software design and development experience.
  • 4+ years of experience collaborating with principal level engineers.
  • 4+ years of experience

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, or Rust
    • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, or Rust
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent "hands on" skills working with development tools, languages, and frameworks.
  • Experience with non-Microsoft platforms and technologies including the breadth of cloud native technologies.
  • Familiarity with open-source software systems and methodologies.
  • Experience working on v1 products or working in a startup environment.
  • Experience building public cloud services orcloud based

As part of youryou will partner with the Group Manager for Incubations, who runs engineering and product management for Incubations.Together you will assess new ideas, design solutions for ideas that are promising, and deliver prototypes that enable us to further explore these ideas.
