This job is responsible for managing risk and developing trading activities with limited direction from senior staff. Key responsibilities include proactively maintaining and building client relationships, supporting clients with buying and selling financial products, and developing and implementing trading strategies to achieve revenue goals. Job expectations include having in-depth knowledge of risk management, hedging, and trading strategies as well as market characteristics.

  • Partners with global sales teams to help the bank's clients execute trading activities, while sharing knowledge of the current market environment
  • Performs trading activities in compliance with federal regulations, industry standards, and other requirements
  • Assigns accounts to pre-defined trading models and administers trades based on product guidelines
  • Operates as a market maker, buying and selling financial instruments in accordance with established trading strategies and risk parameters

Additional Role Detail

  • Seeking a seasoned candidate to join the US Credit Solutions team. In close partnership with the trading desk, the successful candidate will be responsible for structuring and delivering customized cash and synthetic client solutions in US credit bond flow products.
  • This role entails managing the end to end trading workflow for solutions inquiries in AMRS credit bond products:
    • Partner with trading to generate client solutions/baskets and execute delta
    • Responsible for managing funding and delta risk for TRS on custom bonds
    • Negotiate swap documentation, required transaction approvals, and related governance with FICC structuring
    • Market structuring capabilities to clients along with business partners
    • Work closely with credit repo to monitor and optimize bond funding costs
    • Provide guidance on the buildout of infrastructure/tools and the client portal in partnership with quantitative teams, technology, etc.
  • The ideal candidate should possess:
    • Experience in a FICC Trading or Structuring role
    • Familiarity with Corporate Bonds
    • Computer programming and/or financial engineering background is valued
    • Entrepreneurial mindset
    • Excellent communication skills
