Lead technical development of a complex metrology system using a cross-disciplinary team of engineers
Lead the entire system error budgets against the required specs and provide a technical roadmap for future advanced technology based on the system error budget Partition large systems into subsystems, modules, and components, each clearly defined and straightforward to implement
Perform detailed and efficient root cause analysis to problems arise during development and field-escalations
Drive validation and verification activities for the overall product, including system level testing.
Work with program managers to build and handle project schedules. Interfaces closely with service, manufacturing, engineering and marketing team to define and optimize system performance and resolve performance issues.
Responsibilities
Ensure the system will meet the system requirements
Understanding deeply the technical aspects of the system (HW/Algo/SW) and our customers use-cases to provide robust technical capabilities to our customers requirements
Hands-on solving and maintaining of engineering prototype systems in division headquarters Review and approve system requirements and design documents
Contribute to and work the product marketing and the division’s strategic plans to clarify the market need in terms of system requirements
Collect and analyze large amount of data from the system (in hose and from customers) to gain deep insights regard the system behavior
Respond to field critical issues where field service engineers have failed to resolve complex system performance problems, by providing written plans of action by e-mail, phone or on-site hands-on assistance at customer sites worldwide
Be able to quickly get up to speed to design and implement multi-disciplinary experiments, write and peer review detailed test plans and summary reports for system testing
