- Bachelor's degree, or Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
- Experience of or authorship of public standards (e.g., NIST SP 800 Series, RFCs)
- Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture, automation, integration, and deployment (DevOps)
- Applicable industry certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CEH)
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ruby on Rails, etc), integrating 3rd party monitoring tools, and information security product
- Working knowledge of cloud computing technologies and workload transition challenges
