Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with product managers, designers, and architects to turn concepts into functional applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining web applications using Python (Django) and JavaScript (React).
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Leveraging your expertise in relational databases to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Applying your UNIX and networking knowledge to ensure the robustness and scalability of our applications.
- Contributing to the design of distributed systems, considering modern internet infrastructure operations such as metrics, logging, and automation.
- Demonstrating your familiarity with the DNS protocol, security best practices, and Kubernetes for extra kudos.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8 years minimum experience in web application development with Python and Javascript.
- Willingness to engage in on-call rotation.
