Are you an experienced BIM professional with a passion for large-scale projects? We have an exciting opportunity for a BIM Manager - Special Projects who will be responsible for overseeing the BIM software implementation and management across various projects, ensuring standardization of processes, coordination and maintaining quality control. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the development of effective strategies for BIM management, coordination with both internal and external project team members, alignment with project schedule (including critical and strategic milestones)
  • Facilitate digital project execution according to specific NEOM standards, guidelines, and practices. They will also be involved with training staff, suggesting technical solutions, and ensuring all teams are aligned with the project’s goals and compliance regulations
  • On a day-to-day basis, will report to their assigned Project Manager/Director on project related matters and will provide all necessary work output, support, guidance, and advice as may be required or requested by the Project Manager/Director
  • Report to their assigned Project Manager/Director on matters of digital technology and software/BIM related importance, project progress updates of material concern, and on matters of leave and pay
  • Work closely with the relevant NEOM sectors and stakeholders to ensure accurate flow of project/BIM/digital information are communicated, managed, and delivered
  • Identify, develop, implement and manage the BIM protocols and systems, needed to meet the requirements of the project, including the BIM execution plans for each project
  • Coordinating project model deliveries and reviewing models to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Leading BIM coordination meetings to discuss project updates and issues
  • Creating training materials and conducting training sessions for BIM software users, as needed
  • Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards, including creation and maintenance of template files to assure standards
  • Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to relevant Neom codes, standards and practices
  • Maintaining the project models and overseeing data management throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Adhere to all Neom confidentiality guidelines, protocols, and requirements and ensure the same is met for internal and external members of the specified project team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, consultants, and contractors, to achieve the projects outcomes, objectives and seamless workflow integration
  • Drive project data management success, foster innovation, and ensure fit-for-purpose technology and digital solutions are identified and delivered
Here's what you'll need
  • 15 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  • Proven track record of leading BIM management for a major contractor, consultant and/or developer delivering significant of work
  • BIM software experience, including Revit, Rhino and other industry software and tools
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in BIM software management, team interfacing, presentation of key project information/constraints across the various stages of a project’s lifecycle
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles to ensure successful project execution
  • Extensive knowledge in 3D modelling and cloud collaboration, clash detection tools, parametric modelling tools, presentation skills
