In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer you’ll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Our latest project involves enabling the transformation and global expansion of an industry-leading client in the hospitality industry, where we’re redefining the customer experience through our powerful enterprise cloud platform and innovative digital services.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Enable the server-side core functionality of highly interactive web and mobile applications by orchestrating page flow, developing web services and performing database integration.
• Envision, design, and build the software infrastructure that keeps the solutions running.
• Develop flexible, maintainable, and scalable application components.
• Collaborate with development peers and lead the way staying up to date with tools and technology trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 3 years proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or Java Tech Lead.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot for backend development.
• Proficiency in React.js for front-end development.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to work in US shift – Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with cloud platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
