Key job responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of highly-scalable and resilient solutions on AWS.
- Lead technical projects with meticulous attention to detail, delivering results on time and within budget.
- Champion security best practices, implement remediation procedures, and apply critical application updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within the platform and applications, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for application-related incidents, providing timely and effective resolution.- Produce comprehensive and user-friendly technical and support documentation.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience with Windows PowerShell, Linux Shell, or similar scripting language.
- 10+ years of Windows or Linux Server administration.
- 7+ years of experience in architecting new or existing systems for reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational database technologies.
- 5+ years of experience working in virtualization or cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Strong understanding of IT security concepts and principles.

- 5+ years of experience working on large-scale distributed systems.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services, such as VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, and SES/SMTP.
- 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in a modern programming language such as Python, Java, or C/C++.
