Primary responsibilities
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same, that means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities. You will execute the following key CCaSS solutions using global service delivery framework:
- ESG/ sustainability reporting
- Sustainability assurance
- Sustainability strategy
- ESG impact assessments
- ESG due diligence
- Supply chain sustainability
You will be expected to deliver high-quality project output through the following activities:
- Proactively seeking to identify client needs throughout the course of delivering ESG/ sustainability solutions.
- Developing tailored solutions with technical expertise to ensure we can effectively support the clients in their ESG objectives.
- Leading and communicating effectively with the CCaSS team members and clients.
- Collaborating with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk, and client expectations.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
- Post graduate degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of sustainability experience in report writing, materiality assessments, conducting assurance, due diligence, impact assessment, responding to ESG rating indices questionnaires, and supply chain sustainability is a plus.
- Knowledge on digital tools on Sustainability/EHS if any.
- Certifications in climate change, environment, and sustainability related areas from GRI, SASB, GARP, CDP etc. are a plus.
- Excellent MS Excel (or any other data management tools/ technologies) and MS PowerPoint skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary.
