Description
This is a highly technical, hands-on role that requires a wide and deep experience in managing infrastructure and applications across data centers and cloud services. You will design and implement new capabilities and tools for Kubernetes within Apple Services Engineering. This position requires practical knowledge of Kubernetes, public cloud platforms, software engineering, operations and automation. Building and managing relationships with diverse sets of customers who use the platform will be equally critical to ensure collective success. You will be joining a team of highly-skilled, enthusiastic, and passionate engineers working on this leading edge and constantly evolving space.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Strong Kubernetes knowledge and experience.
  • Proficient with various programming languages such as Go or Java and API patterns using REST/gRPC
  • Experience with developer tooling and containerization.
  • Experience operating and developing infrastructure and services in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Excellent communications skills, capable of working with cross functional technical and business teams and varying levels of management, in a professional manner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with open source projects
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
