In this role, you will:
- Manage the activities of a Specialized Services and Invoicing production team.
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Lending Operations functional area
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
- Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
- Make credit decisions and resolve issues regarding performance of a business unit or functional area to ensure business objectives are met
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with low to moderate complexity, and with accountability for special portfolio segments requiring focused management
- Collaborate and consult with Lending Operations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience leading a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven production environment
- Proven leadership and people management experience in relationship management or operational functions
- Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with equipment/vendor finance products and/or Commercial Banking products
- Experience managing projects for billing resources
- Ability to build strong relationships with our external clients
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively across business, technology, and operational teams at varying levels in the organization
- Ability to prepare and present senior level communications
- Proven track record in driving process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives
- Experience partnering with IT / systems engineers on enhancements or updates to department systems
- Advanced MS Office experience including working with Excel for data loading, computation for invoicing and creating pivot tables
- Experience with – IMS (Invoice Management System), InfoLease or LeaseConnect.
- Experience with Tableau or PowerBI
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; advanced degree
