What you'll do...
As a Staff Technical Program Manager, your will revolve around managing large software development programs. You will work closely with architects engineering, product, design and business leaders to ensure the successful completion of these programs. To do this, you will need to have a deep understanding of software architecture and software design principles. You will also need to demonstrate influential skills by building strong relationships with stakeholders across Walmart, ensuring alignment on roles, responsibilities, and programs cadences. Your role will involve defining goals, stage gates, critical delivery paths, and key deliverables for large-scale programs that incorporate multiple programs with dependencies across multiple areas of work, timelines, and resource constraints. Efficient engineering resource utilization and delivery will be a priority, and you will need to simplify and clarify priorities and create plans with appropriate milestones for advance planning and executive buy-in. You will also establish a resource capacity allocation process and tool to transform the planning process. Your problem-solving and decision-making skills will be crucial in navigating any setbacks or obstacles that may arise. Overall, as a seasoned professional, your expertise and passion for driving technical projects to success will be invaluable in this role at Walmart Global Tech.
