As a member of our team, you will help ensure that Citi Applications are designed and implemented with a security first approach. You will have the opportunity to test your penetration testing skills against a variety of application technologies that would really push your research and thirst for knowledge to the limits.

Your primary responsibilities would specifically be:

• Research and identify potential security issues within Citi Applications
• Demonstrate the impact of any identified vulnerability through the development of proof-of-concept code
• Document the discovered security issues.
• Articulating any identified vulnerabilities to developers and ensuring that they understand the true security risk.
• Propose both mitigating controls and recommended solutions to fully close the security gap.

If you are interested in joining the team, below are the minimum qualifications that we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience can be used in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 1 – 3 years of experience in a penetration testing or application development role
• Hands on knowledge and experience in a subset of the following tools: BurpSuite Proxy, AppScan, WebInspect, CheckMarx, BlackDuck, Nessus, NMAP
