Expected experience and skills:

  • Candidate should have already worked previously either in Design, DV or PostSi validation/Debugs.

  • Computer Architecture basic concepts.

  • Script Development using Python/C++ scripting.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Graphics Pipeline for Rendering, Compute.

  • GPU API Vulkan/Direct3D/OpenGL/OpenCL,etc

  • Proficiency in either Verilog, System Verilog, SW Driver development

  • Knowing the Emulation environments for development and debug

  • Debug tools including JTAG and kernel debuggers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the debugs of Functional GPU issue reported by internal SW testing or external customers.

  • Building hypothesis based on symptoms of failures, devising experiments to check the hypothesis and arrive at the root cause of the issue

  • Cross team effective communication.

  • Develop new processes and methodologies / tools to improve time to root cause. Taking initiative of enhancing the debug architecture of GPU core.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
