Provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice to various teams, with a focus on commercial, employment, privacy, and intellectual property matters
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (MSAs, SaaS agreements, DPAs, NDAs, employment contracts, vendor and partnership agreements, etc.)
Support and advise on legal aspects of marketing, product development, and go-to-market activities
Monitor and address intellectual property and brand protection, including handling piracy and trademark issues
Own and manage legal documentation templates and contract processes
Collaborate on privacy and data protection compliance (including GDPR and other applicable frameworks)
Partner with HR on employment law issues and help shape policies and practices
Respond to internal legal questions and support global expansion efforts
Report directly to the General Counsel
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as an in-house counsel or in a tech-oriented law firm, with a focus on commercial and privacy law – must
Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements in a SaaS or tech company - must
Familiarity with privacy regulations, data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA), IP, and open-source licenses
Strong business acumen and the ability to provide actionable, risk-based legal advice
Experience supporting legal needs in product-led companies (especially B2C or B2B SaaS) - an advantage.
Comfortable navigating both legal and business considerations, especially in the context of product and technology development.
Ability to independently lead cross-functional legal projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Ability to lead legal initiatives and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
Fluent English (written and spoken) at a professional legal level - must

Proven experience working on and integrating to builder & editing tools, or similar complex interfaces - an advantage
