Your day to day:

  • Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, and teammates to craft compelling product strategies that delight customers and support PayPal's strategic objectives

  • Analyze current customer experiences to define friction points and create seamless and effortless experiences

  • Develop product roadmaps and work with cross-functional teams (business, program managers, product, development, UX, analytics)

  • Writes epics, user stories across multiple complex and cross-functional feature/ service areas

  • Writes clear, detailed, and thorough specifications for complex services, features or products

  • Drive product development by building end to end solutions with a team of world-class engineers and designers

  • Executes on a defined product/service roadmap for one or more service/feature areas.

  • Creative in designing solutions and recognizes best design practices

  • Develop deep understanding of platform and technology in product area

  • Track and drive timely resolution of open issues

What you need to bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services with deep working knowledge of risk management and disputes methodologies

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field from an accredited college or university

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments

  • Strong problem-solving abilities - you can cut through the noise and laser focus on what really matters

  • Ability to clearly communicate user experience issues and service specifications to both business and technical audience using requirements documents, use cases and desired outcomes

  • Experience working with the payments industry is desirable. Experience in risk or fraud would be an added advantage

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand customers and an ability to explore and structure customers’ insights

  • Strong ability to translate product needs to technology and to understand technology

  • Ability to write SQL scripts or snippets of code preferred

  • Team player with ability to interface and build relations at all levels
