We provide support across the reform lifecycle, from initial policy development through to procuring major infrastructure, including:
- Supporting government decision-making through economic and financial analysis that addresses strategic policy reform and regulatory issues, including market reforms.
- Developing cutting-edge strategies and business cases to support government investments.
- Providing quality commercial and procurement advice across the transaction lifecycle, from go to market planning and industry engagement through to financial close and beyond.

As a valued member of the team you will:
- Provide insightful commercial, economic, and strategic policy advice to a diverse client base, including government and private sector clients.
- Craft clear, well-structured reports and presentations.
- Utilise analytical models to evaluate costs, benefits, and impacts.
- Contribute to business development through proposals, pitches, thought leadership and other business development material.
- Play a role in managing client engagements and presenting your analysis and findings.
- Foster meaningful relationships across EY and with clients and industry professionals.
What we look for
To be considered for this role you must have:
- 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, engineering, economics or law.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and deliver high-quality work on client engagements, while developing client relationships effectively.
- Experience gained from within professional consulting practices, finance, construction or government sectors.
- Experience in transport and/or renewable energy projects would be highly regarded.
- A keen interest in tackling complex challenges that positively impact all Australians.
- Strong communication skills, as well as both quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
