What you need to know about the roleAs a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will own one of our critical domains, leading one or two major initiatives related to your domain. You will be part of the architect group that defines the future of the Company’s technical development.You will be a hands-on contributor that teaches by example and mentors other engineers and product owners on how to improve their development, using our systems, by driving best practices. Our technical stack: AWS, EKS, Docker, GitHub Enterprise, Terraform, GitHub Actions, DataDog, Bash, Python, Go.

Lead major initiatives end-to-end: internal teams rarely have dedicated project managers - you will wear this hat too. You will define the design,identifystakeholders, navigate risks,obstaclesand changes, coordinate the work of your colleagues, implement, advertise and overall be the guarantor of the project delivery on time and on quality.
Strive to help fellow engineers to develop and deliver their code faster and in a secure way.
Your day-to-day
In your day-to-day role, you will be part of our on-call rotation.
Coach/mentor engineers on design principles and best practices.
Recognize,validateand evangelize emerging technologies and architectures that align with businessobjectives.
Lead by doing and meaningfully contributing to engineering teams’ production operations improvements.
Develop tools and automation to manage infrastructure and application configuration via codeand improve the operations quality, reliability, and stability of our systems.
What do you need to
and/ormaster'sin computer science or related field of study.
10+ years' experience in software development or a related fieldand5+ years' experienceoperatingdistributed applications 24x7x365, as part of DevOps or SRE team.
2+ years technical leadership experience.
Extensive hands-on experience with designing,implementingand supporting infrastructure to support global-scale services.
Deep hands-on experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions from AWS (or similar cloud provider).
Hands-on programming and scripting (Python, Java, Bash, Go),containers & container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Strong communicationskills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience.
