Implement Cisco’s global EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
Develop local compliance programs that align with regulations and enhance safety culture.
Deliver training to employees, contractors, and partners on EHS awareness and practices.
Act as the primary contact for local regulatory agencies on EHS matters.
Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures.
Perform EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections regularly.
Manage and maintain EHS documentation in line with legal and corporate policies.
Lead local safety committee meetings and support corporate safety initiatives.
Drive local and regional EHS projects and support ASEAN/APJC EHS goals.
Serve as a trusted liaison between the global EHS team and local partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field recognized by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
Passed the National Institute of Safety and Health (NIOSH) SHO examination.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in occupational safety and health.
Completed university-accredited training in at least three areas: Occupational Medicine, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, or Psycho-sociology.
Fluent in both Malay and English (written, verbal, and reading).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or ISO 45001/14001 Auditor.
Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Able to quickly learn and adopt new tools and systems.
Experienced in organizing safety awareness events.
