TAX - Indirect Tax - Core :

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

Understanding of Indirect Tax Laws: Knowledge of GST, Customs, and other indirect tax regulations in India, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.

Tax Compliance: Assisting with the preparation and filing of tax returns, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

Research Skills: Conducting basic tax research and assisting in the preparation of technical analyses and reports.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records and documentation for tax filings and client communications.

Technology Use: Utilizing tax software and tools to assist with compliance and reporting tasks.

Learning and Development: Actively participating in training programs and seeking opportunities for professional growth.

Project Assistance: Supporting the delivery of tax projects and initiatives, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

Professional Qualifications: A Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or equivalent, with a focus on taxation is desirable.

Relevant Experience: Typically requires a 0-2 years of post qualification experience in indirect taxation.
