The role would be involved in participating and driving various automation projects, coordinated by the Digital Solutions Lead, resulting in more accurate requirements and less Reporting Team involvement during automation. The Team would act as an Internal Consultation Group for Reporting Teams for short term and ad-hoc automation projects, reengineering of current solutions and will be key in having the standard requirements and any necessary artifacts created.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure close collaboration with cross functional team to achieve progress and efficiency, plan and execute on defined Automation Roadmap milestones
- Analyse, optimize and streamline requirements through partnering with Reporting Teams
- Identification of synergies between reports/source systems
- Supporting the Reporting Teams with fit-for-purpose assessment of tools and modules
- Use Case inventory creation (for modules) and maintenance
- Documentation of project artifacts
- Planning of development rollout iterations, oversight of testing periods, coordination of final deployment
- Highlighting additional standard (modular) automation options for adjustments, controls, analysis
- Participate in prioritization discussions in relation to feasibility assessment and readiness
- Identify and anticipate project risks, raise them in a timely manner
- Be up to date with new tools and solutions to enhance user experience
The ideal candidate for this position preferably possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- University/College degree in Finance/Accounting is an advantage
- 6+ years of work experience in financial or risk reporting, technology, or system implementation roles
- Experience in Business Analysis
- Knowledge of Data transformation tools (e.g. KNIME, Alteryx and similar to these) and/or Reporting (preferably Regulatory Reporting) skills are a plus
- Strategic solution mindset, being able to understand the big picture and translate it to bite sized pieces, considering available tools and practices.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve consensus on priorities as a cross functional team
- Be able to pay attention to details while keeping the overview
- Technology literacy and agile mindset are essential
- Advanced MS Excel knowledge
- Fluent English knowledge
- Has working knowledge or motivation to pick up industry practices and standards (financial products, markets, accounting principles, understanding of regulatory frameworks)
- Excellent cooperation, communication and presentation skills (high level of PowerPoint competency and visual storytelling skills required)
