The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM), Client Fleet Management, and Microsoft Intune. In this role, you will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems and tools required to manage and secure a diverse fleet of client devices (Windows, macOS and Linux). You will also play a pivotal role in driving automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
Key job responsibilities
- MDM and Intune Expertise: Develop, deploy, and maintain mobile device management solutions using Intune and other MDM platforms to ensure compliance and security across a global device fleet.
- Client Fleet Management: Implement scalable solutions for managing endpoints, including configuration management, patching, imaging, and reporting.
- Automation: Create and maintain scripts and tools to automate device management tasks and improve operational efficiency.- Operational Excellence: Monitor and improve the health, performance, and reliability of device management systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues.- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, design documents, and operational runbooks.A day in the life

- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Experience automating and configuring systems using the Desired State Configuration (DSC) in a large enterprise environment

- Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
