Job Description:
You will build strong competencies in data structures and algorithms, along with a technical fascination for how everything ties together. You will need to have a solid foundational knowledge of computer engineering and intellectual curiosity to understand the business.
Your day to day:
As a key member of the Payments engineering team, you will architect, design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.
What do you need to bring:
Knowledge of UNIX
Some SQL knowledge - preferably Oracle
Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX) is beneficial
Interest in performance tuning in grid computing/large scale clusters a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment
Participation in any Open source project is a big plus
