A Cyber Security Design Expert is a specialized role focused on the strategic design and architecture of secure systems and infrastructures within an organization. This position is critical in ensuring that all systems, networks, and applications are developed and implemented with robust security measures from the ground up.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Cloud Infrastructure Fundamentals: Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including the design and secure implementation of cloud solutions.
• Linux / Kubernetes / OpenStack: Strong experience working with Linux-based systems and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenStack.
• Cloud Engineering Practices: Hands-on experience with cloud engineering best practices, including automated security and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Identity Management Toolbelt: Experience working with SAML, OAuth, OIDC protocols to secure and manage identities across platforms.
• Operational Process Design: Expertise in operational process design, documentation, and implementation of security protocols.
• Log Analysis Tools: Familiarity with ELK Stack, Splunk, OpenSearch for log management, analysis, and incident investigation.
• Threat Detection and Mitigation: Experience in troubleshooting and identifying Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) across systems.
• Red and Purple Teaming: Proven experience in Red Team and Purple Team exercises to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen defenses.
• Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams or third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with security goals.
• Experience establishing, managing, and scaling a 24/7 Cyber Defense or Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Service-Oriented Mindset: Approach security design with a service-driven mentality, prioritizing business needs and operational effectiveness.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and MSP relationships, aligning efforts with organizational security goals.
