Qualified candidates will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining automation of software solutions in VMware environments
• Writing and executing unit, functional, and integration testcases
• Support integrating enterprise-grade complex VMware cloud environments
• Following compliant procedures and secure engineering best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5-7 years of experience with Python
• 5-7 years of experience with system automation, scripting, and development
• 5-7 years of experience with Postgres/any RDBMS and Cloudant databases
• 5-7 years of experience with software engineering and testing
• 3-5 years of experience with Linux system administration or development
• Good communication skills in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience with Python, Go, or Elixir
• 5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs
• 5+ years of experience with GitHub issue and code management
• 3+ years of experience with Ansible
• 3+ years of experience with VMware administration
• 3+ years of experience with VMware API integration development
• 3+ years of experience with vRealize Operations/LogInsights
• 3+ years of experience with Cloud networking, including VMware NSX
• 3+ years of experience with IBM Cloud API integration development
• 3+ years of experience with Windows Active Directory administration or development
• 3+ years of experience with Windows SQL server administration or development
• 3+ years of experience with Jenkins build and platforms
• 3+ years of experience with Web UI development
• 3+ years of experience with networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways
