Purpose Statement

Supports Global Sourcing function by providing both periodic reports and ad hoc analysis to Strategic Sourcing management. Partner with best in industry Suppliers to provide materials, products and services that drive a competitive advantage for Boston Scientific.

• Develop and maintain supplier performance review metrics & scorecards
• Provide periodic and ad hoc spend analysis reports
• Support Ad Hoc analysis as identified by the VP of Supply Chain, VP of Global Sourcing, Analytic Team Leader, or Procurement Council
• Identify ongoing opportunities and approaches for streamlining analytical processes
  

• Level 8 Degree educated and relevant experience within supply chain / procurement.
• Self-starter and self-driven.
• Computer literate with the ability to use technology and develop new technology skills (training will be provided where required).
• Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Training or experience with cost modeling, data analysis and negotiation.
• Experience of negotiating commercial agreements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to balance short term priorities, and work in an organized manner whilst working under pressure.
• The aptitude to work pro-actively whilst multi-tasking within a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
